Daffyd Thomas lives in a village called Llandewi Breffi which is a fictional mining village in Wales. He walks around in tight PVC and latex rubber a lot of the time proclaiming that he is the only gay in the village. Daffyd's best friend works in the local pub and is called Myfanwy, he spends a lot of time in there talking to her and ordering bacardi and cokes

His favourite catchphrases are "Everyone knows i'm the only gay in the village", "Homophobe!" and "I don't think so!". He uses these phrases when he comes across other homosexual men from around the village and never admits that he is not the only one from Llandewi Breffi that is gay. A lot of the time he insults other gay men by claiming that they are not really gay, no matter how obvious they make it.
